In 1997, at 50 years old, Larry Lee Lewis started teaching himself boogie woogie "Jerry Lee Lewis style"piano. Also, he entered the Boston comedy scene-performing the type of comedy that he grew up with and loved-"Henny Youngman style" one liners. Larry produced and booked many comedy and music shows including playing piano and hosting an "open mike" comedy show for two years at the Howard Johnson hotel lounge behind Fenway Park in Boston, MA.

For acting, he took on extra roles in movies "Mystic River" and "Fever Pitch" and the hit TV show "Rescue Me". Later, he played the mascot "Larry Lee Lobster" for the Boston Comedy Festival in both commercials and shows. In addition, Larry created and performed in "The Larry Lee Lewis Vaudeville Show" at the Elm St. Theater in Davis Sq., Somerville, MA for a seven month run-winning an award from the Improper Bostonian Magazine for Boston's Best 2002 small stage production. Larry co-hosted a lot of radio shows, finally getting his own-"LLL Sports Comedy Show' on major Boston radio station WZZN 1510 "the zone" for two years.

He sings and plays Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Hank Williams, Elvis, swing, blues, rockabilly, country blues, 40's, 50's, 60's, American roots music playing out as a solo act, duo, and trio in many restaurants and clubs. He was the leader and front man for the "LLL Band" for fifteen years. He worked for Nick's Comedy Stop for a seven year span and has done hundreds of comedy shows since as an opener, middle and now a headliner act. He has opened for Lewis Black, Bobby Rydell,Frank Santorelli,Adam Ferrara,Steve Sweeney, Steve Connally, Al Vega, Lenny Clarke, Don Gavin, and many others.

He has taken his act and performed on Horizon's Edge Casino Boat in Lynn, MA, Foxwoods Casino, CT, South Pointe and Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston and The Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe in Memphis,Tenn. He Has headlined at Coconuts in Clearwater FL,Comics For a Cure in New England,Comedy Factory in RI,Bostons Best Comedians in Dracut,Ma,Framingham Amazing Arts Center,and many venues in New England and Florida.

His greatest productions were 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren,a great grandaughter and 3 ex-wives. With this extensive background Larry has performed at many senior homes-over 55, over 62, assisted living, and retirement homes. Larry Lee Lewis considers himself a variety performer, radio personality, specialty act, musical comedy act, lounge act, and senior entertainer. This man brings a lot of energy, laughs, music, personality, stage presence, and fun to his shows….including his trademark laugh that audiences love…..”HAHA!”....
